Charles Eisenstein & Lyla June Johnston

What are the perils of working "in the system" as opposed to trying to change it from the outside? In this multidimensional conversation, Lyla and I expand and perhaps transcend that question. We weave together topics as seemingly divergent as Peak Oil, recovering dying languages, the "emperor's new clothes" syndrome, and the importance of small, barely visible actions that contradict what is normal or realistic. The poetry and insight of this young woman is not to be missed.

Some great excerpts from interview:

All work together to make the whole/Without any 1 piece it would be incomplete/All of our pieces we contribute to the world/Universe are vital & necessary/Any piece of rug contains an image of the entire rug/Holographic Understanding-Rupert Sheldrake on Morphic Resonance:
-Any change that happens in 1 place creates a field of change that enables that same change to happen more easily somewhere else.
"Contributing to the orchestra."
"Flock like a geese into the right note." (Singing analogy)

"Me being who I am in a state of compassion is enough."
